The Illinois Sports Facilities Authority teamed up with The Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz on Monday, August 11, 2008, to host an exciting event as the Chicago White Sox took on the Boston Red Sox. Actor Billy Dee Williams, who is Honorary Chairman for the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz and is best known for his role as Lando Calrissian in Star Wars, threw out the honorary first pitch.
