The Illinois Sports Facilities Authority in cooperation with the Chicago White Sox hosted the first annual Chicago Consular Corps, sports event on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 as the Chicago White Sox played the Toronto Blue Jays. Georges Rioux from the Canadian Consulate General, threw out the honorary first pitch.
