After School Matters Gala

In 2006 and 2007, the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority hosted the annual After School Matters Gala. Serving as host for two consecutive years, the Authority has helped After School Matters, a non-profit organization that expands out-of-school opportunities for Chicago teens and is the largest after-school initiative for teen programming in the country, raise almost $5 million.
