Dana Phillips Goodum, CPA, is the Chief Financial Officer of the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority (ISFA).  Goodum has more than 22 years of accounting and financial management experience in both the public and private sectors.  As Controller, she is responsible for maintaining ISFA's sound financial structure.  She oversees financial reporting, general and construction accounting, financial audits, payroll, bond funding, treasury management, insurance, human resources and operating budgets.

Prior to ISFA, Goodum served as financial controller for a variety of companies including CNA Insurance Companies, TALPX Inc. and Carter and Carter International Inc.  Her responsibilities included financial reporting, financial audits and tax, general accounting, human resources, payroll, information technology, operating budgets and acquisitions for U.S. and Canadian operations.  She oversaw operational reviews and was instrumental in the preparation of a public offering on the London Stock Exchange.  Prior to that, Goodum spent five years at the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority serving as the Director of Finance at Navy Pier after a promotion from Manager of Financial Reporting.  She assisted with management of the $1 billion McCormick Place South Expansion capital budget and oversaw the planning and development of all financial operations and processes for Navy Pier, now the most popular tourist attraction in Chicago.  Throughout her career, Goodum successfully managed the implementation of several financial software systems, including Epicor, PeopleSoft and J.D. Edwards.  Goodum began her finance career as an Audit/Financial Consultant for Arthur Andersen, LLP in Chicago where she gained a variety of industry expertise.

Goodum is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Accountancy.  She is a member of the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Chicago.
